In this Lesson students will learn the significance of regularly backing up a WordPress website as well as how to generate and restore backups as and when necessary. A website must be backed up in order to prevent data loss, and a plan must be in place for restoring the website in the event of a disaster.

These are some of the topics that we will cover in this Lesson:

  • An overview of the importance of routinely backing up a WordPress website
  • Best practices for creating and managing backups, including backup choices for the database, files, and media
  • Restoring a WordPress website from a backup, including database, file, and media restoration options.
  • Guidelines for establishing and maintaining an effective backup and recovery plan
  • How to diagnose and fix backup and restore problems

By the end of this session, students will have a thorough understanding of how to create and restore backups of a WordPress website and be able to design a plan to safeguard their site from data loss.
