In this session, we will focus on the various techniques that may be used to improve the appearance of videos and photos in search engines. We will address tactics for compressing and structuring images and videos, as well as best practices’ for using alt tags and captions. In addition, we will discuss how to utilise schema markup as well as other methods to increase the visibility of these sorts of media in the pages that search engines provide their results. The purpose of this lesson is to increase the appearance of images and videos within search engines, with the end goal of making them more discoverable to users.
