In this Lesson, we will be teaching the concepts of Structured Data and Schema Markup, which are ways to add additional information to your website’s HTML code to help search engines understand the content of your pages better. We will cover the different types of structured data, such as microdata, RDFa, and JSON-LD, and how they can be used to markup different types of content such as products, events, reviews, and more. We will also discuss how to use Schema.org, a widely adopted vocabulary for structuring data, to create and test your markup. Additionally, we will explore how to use Google’s structured data testing tool and the Search Console to monitor and troubleshoot any issues with your markup. By the end of this module, you will have a solid understanding of the benefits of structured data and schema markup and how to implement it on your website.
